Ok guys, help me out,

Im trying to make a backup of The Matrix, original game.
I connected everything as I believe it should:
- right ip adresses on pc and evox
- 10/100 installed NIC card
- rj45 crossover cable
- flashfxp installed and running, set on port 21 and use passive mode switched off

So, I turn on flashfxp, and I let it connect with the X.
I select drive D, and I get to see all the files on the matrix cd.
no probs so far I guess.

I make a new Map, and select all the matrix files. I drag them to the left window.
Download starts.

But then, after a few minuts when it arrives at copying the big (60+mb) files, transfer speed drops from 2800kb/s to 0,5 and somitis even 0,0kb/s!!!! blink.gif

I mean, that sucks uhh.gif

What did I do wrong?
Please help me...

grtz Sid

btw: I tried with smartftp as well, same result. It says in red wordt in the status bar Noob 220 (or was it 200?) and stops complete transfer.

thanks guys...

Do a search for matrix, or check the pinned topics there is a guide on how to back up this game. There is a problem with long file names in this game and there has been a patch to correct it. This is one of only a few games that need something special done to back it up.

Check here!! Back up ETM
