Maxtor diamond plus 9 7200 rpm 8mb cache.
Chameleon v1.3 solder version.

I just had my Xbox modded 2 days ago, everything worked fine untill i wanted to use the FTP function from my PC to Xbox using CuteFTP.
Now i've been checking out some topics with FTP and i see people saying to use an EvoX boot disc.
I havent heard anything about this disc neither did my mod-dealer give me any information or anything with my xbox.

When i startup my Xbox it just says ip: (blank), when i go to system settings my settings are:

:: xbox ::

ip: 192.168.0.3
subnetmask: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.0.1

:: PC ::

ip: 192.168.0.2
subnetmask: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.0.1

I've added these numbers myself to the system settings.
Nothing was in it when i got my xbox.
I've tried various connecting ways to connect to my xbox using various programs.
I only plugin my powercable to the xbox when i hook it up to my PC using an crossover cable (no hub)
i dont hook it up to my TV but i dont need to do that do i ?

Can anyone be kind enough to help me out here ?

-thnx.

change your xbox gateway to 192.168.0.2 to match your pc...

What is your dashboard? You only need a dash, or a dash on a disc with an integrated ftp (ie, evox, xbmp, avalaunch). I think the 4977 xctr bios have an integrated ftp as well, not sure how to use though, since I've always just used evox's.

if you are using a crossover cable you need to set static ip to yes!

The gateway thing didnt work (ave no idea why)

Xbox

ip: 192.168.0.3
subnet: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.0.2

dns: ?
dns: ?

PC

ip: 192.168.0.2
subnet: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.0.1 (tried .2 and .3 also)

static ip = yes.
using evox but cant use the ftp client on it cuz i cant hook it up to an monitor when i wanna connect to my PC since my cable is far to short smile.gif
i can only use the power cable on my xbox, nothing more.
