I have a radio shack digital multimeter and I never used one before I just want to know how to check my soldering skills to the LPC points. Also I have a dead Xbox that Frag's I would like to test as well, can someone help me with this on how to use a Multimeter

your best bet will be to check continuity - if you have that setting, then you can touch the leads together and it should beep - then you find the appropriate points on the mother board, and check them to the xbit.
if you don't have a continuity option, you can select the ohmmeter functions - and when you touch the tips the resistance should be pretty close to zero - use that as your continuity.
you can also search around for the 1.5 box information, and you'll see where you should be reading 3 volts and 5 volts when powered - one lead to the appropriate point, the other to ground.

If you have removed the mobo from the case then i suggest checking the reverse side of the lpc (bottom of mobo) to the corresponding connection on the xbit.
