hey,
I have the 'pcsxbox' emulator i think its called, to play PSX games. I extract the .bin and .cue file and place only the .bin file into the 'psxcds' directory on my xbox. I have only tried Rollcage 2 and Jonah Lomu Rugby the same problem happens for both. I switch the thingy from BIOS to HLE becuase they wont load in BIOS mode. They load ok in HLE but then at the menu screen the music goes all weird and when i actually try to play the games they freeze
can anybody tell me whats going wrong?
any help much appreciated:D
cheers

first of all you need a bios file for bios mode (not included with the emulator). HLE mode doesnt run most games too well. Not all games run perfectly. PSX has isos not roms.

To find the bios file, try google. You also need the .cue file. Also, try reading the readme file, it will prevent many problems in the future.

thanks for the help.
i downloaded a SCPH1001 file and placed it in the Bios folder on my xbox and it seems to be sweet as now.
Just one last question though, for jonah lomu rugby i really want to be able to use R trigger, like it does work in the game but it rapidly speeds the game up if i press it. I have noticed that the same thing happens in GENSX and FCE roms. i looked round in the controller mapping but couldnt put my finger on it. any1 got any ideas??
oh and is there anyway to play stored songs while playing PSX, MEga-drive or Gameboy games??
cheers

It's called "throttle" if I remember correctly. Look around more, you'll find it.
