[COLOR=blue]i know this is a xbox forum, but would somebody be willing to help with Final Fantasy 8? whenever i try to start a new game, the intro video comes up and afterwords the screen goes white and locks up. the disk does not have one mark on it. any advice?

Maybe your lense is dirty?

if it is a backup and a pal version, it may need patched . There are patches here -
