now, im posting this for no good reason really...just thought it was kinda interesting...when my mod chip is enabled(on)- the xbox dash appears different- like the lighting is all messed up- ILL POST PICS IF ASKED)....like you know how theres that kinda eerie green lighting reflecting off the buttons-(settings, xbox live, memory, ect....) well its like mis-reflected...i disable the chip, and its normal........just thought id let you know....

I have noticed the same thing. Mine seems to be random sometimes its fine. The reflection looks as though it is shining right at the screen. The MS dash board is completly operational its just annoying.

Just grasping at staws here. What is your bios "checksum" sting. It would be odd if we had the same bios.
