I am trying to flash my Matrix BIOS with a new one, but EvolutionX is stuck on "Erasing". Been like that for the past 5 minutes. Mode should not matter right? If I power on, and then power back on, the old BIOS is still there.

What gives?

ADD - Well krayjosh's tutorial says mode doesn't matter when flashing, but Matrix's own website says Mode 4 is write enabled.

You have to have it on mode 4 when flashing the Matrix inside the Xbox. When flashing the Matrix with the programmer it doesn't matter which mode you are on.

Another question that could have been answered by simply reading the manual. Go figure.

Or if worst comes to worst, just take it out, and reflash from the programmer.
