The reason I just registered for this forum and am posting now is because I was very concerned about he rumors I was hearing (and experiencing myself since I am an XB Live Beta tester).

Well, my friends and I did some tests and here are the sad results:

What we had:

My Xbox (Modded).
My Neighbor's (Modded and EvoX installed).
My Cousin's (Non-Modded).
My Brother's (Modded and also V1.1).

Game:

Moto GP (DVDR)
Moto GP (on HDD)
Moto GP (retail)

STRATEGY:

Test each Xbox with Moto GP DVDR, on HDD, and retail version (retail version was only version working on unmodded obviously). Each test was only 5 minutes apart (just incase the servers were too flooded with people).

Well, sad to admit it...but here are the results:

The only combination that worked was the Moto GP (retail), on Xbox (non modded).

We did this test this morning and I later did the tests this evening with the same results.

This sucks sad.gif

I hope it's fixed sad.gif

P.S. - We took my brother's Matrix mod out and it still didn't work even after that. That just boggles my mind.

Have you replaced th HD? Copied stuff to the HD? What's your system version? etc...
Fuzzy

Bagel, wrong. I have a Matrix. i removed mine and connected the original HD with the original files. Still can't connect. The Xbox version is the K and D numbers you see when you go to settings--system info and wait for the disclaimer to finish scrolling
Fuzzy
probly got a temp ban, wait till tommorow biggrin.gif

Might as well say Bigfoot ate my XBL access. There's just as much proof.

first of all, a switch or mode 3 in the matrix is not going to do anything. If you are connecting with a matrix in mode 3, its not because you have it in mode 3. I have the openxbox & i still can't connect when i load the original bios

it is not detecting the bios because I have the openxbox (pc-bioxx) & i flashed it with the original retail 4034 Bios so i couldn't load backups--

it still would not connect no matter if i booted from the xbox or pc-bioxx.
