Can i use 2.4 with relax or do i need to have 2.3 cvs?

I dont have a config.xml with my 2.4 version i have a Xboxmediacenter.xml though and in it it doesnt have <share>
<name>Network (XBMSP)</name>
<url>xbmsp://192.168.2.6/music</url>
<cachesize>256</cachesize>
</share>
though,
but it has <nameserver>192.168.0.1</nameserver>
<CDDBIpAdres>194.97.4.18</CDDBIpAdres>
and other stuff like that.

This is my Relax share for XBMP 2.4 (download a complex version and it will include a config.xml with a generic entry for an XNS server). Works fine for me but do note that I share my root directory for Movies (I access individual folders from there).

Complex version is the latest official release - CVS is like a beta update. When you log onto the Xbins channel at one point there are instructions for the XBMP FTP server (either that or they've moved the whole thing to Xbins - not sure anymore).

I had tons of problems getting videos to work with the latest CVS build, including streaming. I went back to the complex release the other day and everything now is back to normal. I know there was at least one other user having the same exact problems as me over at xboxmediaplayer.de.
