I was wondering if there's anything special about formatting a 300gig drive,
besides the required LBA48 support from bios?

I have flashed my friends box with EvoxM7 patched with xbtool and
X2 4979.06 -REPACK-, cause i'm planning to put the rest of the space
to F:

Can I format the drive with Slayer's auto-installer 2.4 for instance?

I've done it to my box, but i'm a bit new on "over 137gig" scene, since I only have 120gig myself...

Thanks in advance!

You may want to use the 67 version of that BIOS. People with 300GB drives partitioned so the F takes up the rest of the drive are running into problems as the drive fills up.

Ok, thats understadable since there's no defragging progs at the moment.... by the ways is the problem with evox, I mean the filling up thing? there few things that I need some light on.

So if I format the drive 6+7, so will F: partition take 137GB and
G: partition the rest?

I understod that majority of the programs are hardcoded to run from f: or e:
so what about loading games from G: ?

does this for example work as it works F: partition?

Section "Play Games from HD"
{
Line "- Games on the Hard Drive -",2
SortStart
AutoAddItem "g:Games"
SortEnd
}

Of course I'll have to enable G: partition support from evox...
