I've never used cosmo but i've owned like 3-4 other brands before logitech. I returned them all. Doesn't matter how it looks when you can't use it to play a game. They all pissed me off with their disconnects or not registering every button i pressed. Then i got the logitech, and was happy.

the s's shape sucks
the logitech is nice and wavey
when ever i pick up an s now i almost gag because it is so f'ing knobby
i wrote a review for the logitech controller, let me dig up the link...
here it is:
http://www.bluegamers.com/xbox/hreviews/lcc/let me summarize it for you: the dpad seems a little off, the connection takes a few presses to initalize after you boot, and the card slots are on the base, besides that it is awesome

Yes, unfortunately you can't use the xblive headset with any of them. With the logitech you can plug it into the base station, but that doesn't really do you any good.

I used the jabra wireless headset with bluetooth adapter. it worked well enough that i was completley wire free with controller and ear piece in my ear.

it works good on my end as far as hearing people. but people tell me i sound like i'm in a tunnel or talking through a blanket. I don't speak much anyway so it isn't a big deal.

I'd thought i'd give a comment on this one..
I never saw the purpose in wireless controllers anyway.. but some mates of mine only want the wireless, and I play a lot there.
First one they got was logitech.. seemed ok at first, but the rubbers on the sticks showed cracks after a few weeks of play.. so he bought "Big Bens" well those were ok at first too.. But then the shit happens. After a few weeks it decided not to point at a certain direction anymore, all other directions on the stick worked, besides that one.
The last one he bought was a Cosmo, well its still working. And I tried it and since I like the controller S I liked this one too, the feel is exactly the same and the Cosmo comes with an adapter to charge the batteries (wich are included) so this is really a bargain for me at 40 €
So I ordered two immediatly and at first I never like wireless controllers

i havent had any troubles with the stick grips.
if you have any problems, mold one and make a silicon rubber grip.

Thought I'd respond to this and let you know my thoughts. I have the Pelican Eclipse, which is OK, except for the fact that the vibration is terrible, and it doesn't feel very balanced. I really like the extra black and white buttons on the shoulder, though--they made Splinter Cell a bit easier for me.
But playing Tiger Woods was a challenge because the white button isn't very responsive. To get power shots, you need to be speedy with it, and the Pelican was sucking. Plus, the vibration, as I mentioned, pretty much is non-existent.
For an early Christmas present I bought myself the Logitech, and I must say, you get what you pay for. Pay no attention to the way it looks. When you actually hold it in your hands you'll see that it may be the best third party controller out there, wireless or not. It really is a solid design, and features very decent vibration. The controls are responsive and the whole things is well balanced. I think this is the best piece of hardware I've bought for the box, and I wish I had purchased it instead of the Eclipse in the first place.
Do yourself a favor and pick one up.

I agree about the eclipse's white and black button for playing Tiger Woods. In short it really sucks. I also bought a Logitech soon after my purchase of the eclipse and find it to be the better of the two.
