I recently bought two Xecuter 2.0 lite plus modchips, and these were preflashed with XBOX Linux Clean Bios 1.8.

But when i try to flash the bios by inserting the bios cd, it prompts for linuxboot.cfg. Why? I can't find any info about this file on the internet. I did not need that file when i flashed my xecuter 2.2 lite plus chip...

And don't tell me how to make a normal cd with bios. I have done that about 15 times. with dummy files up to 200MB. The DVD-rom is Samsung, and reads the cd's perfect.

You probably have an older non Flash-bios version of Cromwell (ie. the flashing application is not built in). You will need to load that separately - available here: http://www.ozxchip.com/downloads/ozxflash1-2.zip

Extract the OzXFlash ISO image to a CD using NERO or similar program and boot in your xbox - it will then ask you for the BIOS.BIN CD (just follow the on-screen instructions).
