Yes, Please upload it as I changed my background to a medium blue but I really like what you did with the game icons. I have not figured out the skin xml's yet but I am working on it.

That doesnt make much sense. They should all be uploaded to both sites with allxboxskins being the first. Allxboxskins is a household name when it comes to xbox modding. I think that's a dumb idea, and likely to do more damage to unleashx than good IMO.
It's like saying you wear your shoes too sizes too small only to enjoy the relief when you get to take them off. (no it's not, that was a terrible analogy!)
Every other skinable homebrew app in the scene today has its skins posted at axs, what makes us think were soo bloody special to rock the boat? and if there's nothing on the offical site to attract vistors apart from these "exclusive" skins, you have to ask why bother with a webby in the first place?

yeah but theres only a few exclusive skins, its not like custom unleashx skins will completly boycott AXS.

there are much better things to put on the site to drive traffic.

The reasons for this are two fold, one is yeah they increase traffic, and number two, we are working on a feature of UX that i cant mention yet, but it does have a purpose we are also gonna try to make a depository for game icons and things for the dash as well

Here is what I thought could be a UnleashX Media Center Skin ( please note that the elements used are from the xbox media center skin! )

The System Information Screen could be what is supposed to be in the next release of UnleashX, it is activated via the black ( or was it white ) button on the controller.

does anyone know what would make the best size for a Widescreen & Full Screen Skin?

I can't wait to download these new skins. I tried to make a skin but graphics is not my thing so it did not end up no where near as cool as these so I will keep my skin to myself. Trust me, no one would want the ugly thing anyway.

I can quite understand not releasing the skins if theres some new feature being kept secret - thats fine, but increasing traffic to the site? - thats just ghey.

Oopsa did not know that the Y button will be the "INFO-Screen"

Well yeah the WinBOX which theme that I created for EVOX was all done by myself, but the screens you see above are simply done in Photoshop, the skin does not work at all ( at the moment ). I mainly wanted to show what I would LOVE to have with UX because I love the clean look of Windows XP Media Center, if I ever create this skin then I will not release it with these ripped grafix. I also decided to write that all the grafix are from xbox media center because I do NOT want to take credit for somebody elses work.

In otherwords, you were trying to implement a feature much talked about before. Have a secret depository for these "In House" skins and only way to Dload them is building in a feature of UnleashX to directly Dload them to your Xbox, same goes for Icons and other stuff.

Its a great concept if you ever get it to work. The only thing is, you would have to post previews in the forum and tell people the exact skin name to look for when dloading to there box with UnleashX.

part site, part me.. part everyone else.

1. The sites server is not automatically processing thumbnails anymore. something real wierd going on here... i think MS is to blame...just cause its fun to blame them. Without this, I cant update the site from work.

2. I've been real busy converting video (16 tapes) to DVD for my sister so i can go home this xmas. I've only had them for a year and now i have less than a month to complete them.

3. reason 1 requires me to do the thumbs manually, and even though i run a batch process to do the majority of it.. it still takes time and it doesnt get me around the ones that have to be added manually because of size.

4. Evox and UnleashX users must not have jobs... cause they release a crapload of skins.. a shit-ton! . Lately, with UnleashX skinners... I've found that a little wait will get the final (fixed) skin out the first time, instead of users consuming bandwidth downloading each update.

5. I'll be away from home for a week for vacation after the 19th of dec. I could normally keep the site updated while on the road but (see #1 again)... so i might just down the uploads for that week. (just a heads up)

6. The offical site kept some from uploading to AXS.... and thats fine with me, not sure if it hurts or helps anyone but its thier skin, so its thier choice. AXS would love to have them, but we respect the skinners for thier work and dont have a problem with another site hosting.

If those weren't enough.. I could try lying up a few more Trying to keep up with it during my own personal "rush" and that rush wont last forever.

Can the text I want to be highlighted like that actually be done? ie. TIME: is a pink. and the Seconds are red since those change. Is this possible? If not I suggest that be an added tag to for the skinning engine something maybe like this

Here is a working version of the Media Center Unleashed ( MCE Unleashed ) Skin. I just could not wait for a skinner program to come out and decided to take the bizarre XML file and work from there on. Again, the almost all the graphics are taken from the XBOX Media Center Skin. If the original author lets me use and release this skin I will make it available for everyone.
