Is it currently possible to make the video files have transparency? If not, is that a future possibility? I think that would be awesome... I started making a few skins, but haven't been pleased with anything yet so I haven't released anything.

A few suggestions on what I would like to see on that skin, but they probably aren't best for the skin... but hey, it's an open forum, right?

I'd move the circle and list up a bit, move the time and date to above the hard drive free space box, then stretch the music box out like you originally had it on the ConsoleUI skin. I loved that design! Also, maybe a cool clock or calendar "bubble" for the date/time? Dunno.

One more... don't know if this is possible or not, but I'd replace subnet under network settings with some type of "status" indicator. Don't know if there is a variable for that or not, but it'd be great. I can't tell you how often I'm transferring something from the computer to the box, and I'll go downstairs to the tv and think "I wonder if it's done yet so I can play a friggin game"

There are quite a few sources for icons on the internet. You can even download tons of PNGs for some PC utils ( something like YZ DOCK or MOBYDOCK ) and you can use those rather nicely in Photoshop and change the color etc.

What I love about PNG ICONS is that they are already with a transperant background - so alot of work for cutting out the icons is already done.

dunny another great skin, i like the time and music box adjustments. would it be possible to add video previews in the cirlcle where the game icons are displayed?

Edit: I know that somewhere in the system information there's a line that is something like a network status. It may be like bytes recieved and sent. Don't think that there's a variable for the skin tho. Thanks again!

As for this skin. Well it's my first that's been posted online. I usually get dissatisfied with them before their finished and hock 'em. This one in my opinion is ok. As you can see it's very basic. Let me know what ya'll think.





Game List has 1 backed up game because this is my new box, still stock hd.

Also it hasn't been uploaded to AXS yet. We'll see how it goes here.

I put the skin Chromulus on my xbox and everything works fine, except the menu doesn't spell out the selections. It will have the first 2 or 3 letters and then ..., for example my games list looks like:

Amp...
Cou...
I-N...

etc.

Anyone know how to fix that?

Reboot your xbox.

rebooting the xbox wont work with the new version you have to fix the width attribute

Thanks tweagr, I figured that was the problem. I tried adjusting those numbers, but i only changed them a little bit, so it didn't do much.

sorry sleepinginmyhead, my mistake.

I've added loading screens to my Green, Blue and Red Athloni skins so they match the skin colour. The updated zipfiles are on AXS now

like hdd space left and contents of dvddrive..thats about enough info on this nice looking skin...i would place it in the top left corner on the left even of that bar if thats possible.
IF thats not possible...maybe info on the right bottom (right beside the menu) and maybe a nice looking unleashx logo in the same style as the skin...

looks good but i think it would look better if the info spots were darkend rether then lightend and the wite text seems a little out of place mabe a light brown or dirty yellow would be better.

well i have to agree yours is much cleaner looking but you should ask the Original auther befor posting anything about it and make sure the credits are clear as to who the Original auther was.

Actually, they look very different to me. Sure, it follows the same theme, but (as far as I can tell) all of the graphics are original. He hasn't simply plagiarised, like some others do.

Give credit where credit is due, but in this case, I think you guys are giving him more flack than is warranted.

The way Dunny have arranged the text and icons are very good... which is the reason why I used the very same layout - but ALL graphics are made by me from scratch, so its not just a replica of the original skin!!

great site, I grabbed that UK Flag wallpaper too which looks ace!

I was just wondering if there is anything I can do to keep the skins from being cut off. I know tv's usually cut off some of the picture, but from the preview pics there's a lot of space between the edge of the skin and any text. Yet, most of the skins I have the first/last letter or so gets cut off, and I was just wondering if there is a fix for that besides going in and changing the position of the text manually.
