i want a higher resolution. xbmc has a high one.. and it works great and fills the tv properly... but when i run UX i can se some blue at the ends of the border here and there... is it possible to have it filled out like it is in xbmc, or have a black back instead of the blue thing i get behind the background.png.

go to settings and change the screen calibration to match ur screen.

Camdog. that aint the problem.... when i try the screen calib... i cant get it to fit proper...i would need a bevel bending too =)... or what u can call it to bend sides..

Anything that happens in-game, is going to have to be implemented into the bios. The dash ain't running when your game is.

If you have the latest version of uX, you can download skins striaght onto your box. Forgot what Unleash hid it under, and my xml file is different.

what about igr is it the dash or bios?

I'd like IGR as well. I have an old homebrew with X-ecuter V1 bios that can't be flashed AFAIK, so I need the dashboard to have IGR. I know it doesn't work with all games, but for most it works great.

A few requests for one of the best dashboards.

Is there any chance you could add a password/passcode across a certain game rating. Maybe put an option in one of the settings menus, a kind of parental control. This would make it easier to set one password across M rated games or higher. Instead of having to setup passwords for each game.

Why not use the Xbox's built in parental control? Because if I set that, I would have to go back to the dash to unset it, and after I finish playing the game, I would have to go back and set it again to enable the parental control. So, setting a universal password in unleashX would be much easier. Just a simple request.

Also, I request a copy/rename feature. You've implemented it already, but I'd like to request it as a menu item in the filemanager. I borrow compilation episode discs, and sometimes the names are too large. I have the Unleash X set to make the files xbox file system compatible, but in doing so it chops off the name and I end up with a bunch of files with no episode number or just a weird filename. So, a rename then copy feature in file manager would be most usefull. Not really a priority just something, I and maybe others might find useful.

OK IGR = EASY

got a old modchip. simple run Pheonix Bios Loader before UnLeashX and then use a new bios , u could even use bigger then 137+g Harddrives as well.

I suggest ind-bios BFM (boot from media)

IGR is a good idea, it can easily be disabled for those that don't wish to use it, and helps a ton for those of us that do

IGR is bios dependent. I didnt mean that UnleashX has IGR in it itself. I ment that UX has the capability to CONTROL IGR....on/off in the settings menu

You would have to update your bios to one that has IGR..I recommend X2 4981.06 or 4981.67 depending on the size of ya HDD.

more supported media types for background and preview vids: avi would be nice! Every time I convert my mpegs and avi's to wmv and boot up, it locks up my dashboard.

edit: nvm, kthulu helped me out here w/ my xmv and wmv files. u-x is the perfect dash!!

I have a request for loading a specific loading video/image per menu item.
Either a load.wmv or load.xmv found in the directory of the .xbe or have a path to one main directory with all of them. Would this be possible? I believe it would be similar to the preview videos we have only they would play when you start a game or application. Thanks! BTW, this dash definitely rocks!

I'd like to be able to stream my halo 2 stats in UX. They are in .xml format on bungie's page but I guess the link isn't addressed properly for UX to recognize it. If this can actually be done then someone please correct me. Here's the feed section of my config...I'm including this so that unleashx can see what the actual address is of a stat page for reference.

This idea may not be feasible, or even useful to many people, but I'd love to see a small signal meter for those of us using wireless adapters. Something small, in a corner, perhaps. I know the official xbox wireless adapter included a disc that updates the dashboard to show signal stats, so in theory it may be possible. Just an idea.

I use a lot of multigame discs.

I would like to be able to turn the xbox on and NOT have it load the disc in there, but then have a menu listing "DVD GAMES" that would list the games on the DVD

It already does this for the most part minus two things:
1) it auto starts a disc if its in the tray when you turn it on
2) and if the game isnt put into the xbox while its loading, it loads that submenu as empty.

i dont know if you can fix #1

but with #2 if you could have it auto refresh when you expand this submenu it would at least halfway solve my desire

instead of having the music stop when pressing the right joystick, have it put up a menu of audio options like stop, play, pause, fastfwd, rewind, next track, previous track, volume

there is a setting in unleashx that allows you to disable autolaunching dvd.

well, i guess thats when u put one in there after laoding the dash huh?
