Guys and Girls,

Got a bit carried away with myself, got cocky and tried to burn myself a new BIOS and have wiped the X2 Pro clean.

I can't get the new bios to flash via X2BM, it says it erases, its says I have got the right MD5...etc etc

Just when it burns it fails.

I had a nice machine with Evox, 120G drive,etc...very proud of myself, but need some help. It boots in 'original' mode but it just ain't the same.

Any advice would be good.

you could use ozflash cd and a bios cd.

Will these work with the Xbox running in orginal mode, i.e will it read the disk ok. I will look for a tut on the approach you suggested, but thought that nothing would work if the system does not even recognise the chip is in place.
