Thinking about upgrading form a 120 to a 200 or 250gb hard drive and was wondering if it would require a certain bios or a certain trick to get it to work? And will this work with the matrix, I prefer to keep the matrix in and now put the chamelean.

Use a BIOS that will allow partitions 6 and 7 (F and G drives) and you won't have any problems.

I'm using a 200Gb HD with 4977 lba48 patch (big F) and it works fine, except Worms 3D and StepMania (oh and the official dash) won't load. Anyone know why this is?

Switch to F and G partitions and you're problems may go away.

But then I'll get a whole new load of problems because I've got a giant F drive and more than 137GB of STufF on it.
It's not a problem, I'll try 4979.06 and if that doesn't work, I'll think about how badly I want Worms 3D and StepManiaX.
ThanX for all your help.

Dudes, there's nothing to it. For a stock HDD swap if you have a moded xbox copy everything from your c and e drives to seperate folders on your pc. Load up X2 4979.67 BIOS, install the HDD and boot up with an install cd. Format all the drives and copy everything back. Done!
Forigve my noobiness, but where can I get an install CD from?
Thanks
