I've just put a 120gb Hitachi hdd in my xbox to store all my music on.
But when trying to create a folder through FTP, I get access denied. I can copy individual files to the drive, but only to the root.
If I use the CDRW EvoX boot disc I used to format the hdd, I can copy stuff to the HDD fine.
Any ideas?

Sorry, can't help, but good to see there are people with the same problems. I have the exact same thing. 
what version of evox? also try different ftp client.
latest version, 3291.
Also, it can't be the ftp client, because as I say, if I use the evox install cd, I can sucessfully transfer to and from the new drive without problems. client is cuteftp pro 3 by the way.
must be something else, perhaps with config?

I also have the same problem. I am trying to create a folder on F partition to ftp all my mp3s to but get access denied. I have tried formatting the partition but no change.
I am running evox.
