I've been trying to align d0 on a X2.2L+ chip for hours now.
I think I've finally got it though... sorta
The green LED on the chip will blink on and off a few times, then stay off.
The front eject button colors keep flashing red and yellow.
Why!!! Any thoughts?

I've got a 1.0
I know it should stay lit, because I've gotten it a couple of times. (If only it would do it multiple times in a row

I just got a new X2lite plus. Check the allignment. For some reason they do not line up perfectly. I took a drill bit that barely fit into the hole and used it to widen the hole SLIGHTLY for the screw. It added the slight amount of space needed for it to allign right. Now green and blues stay lit. Bad news is mine still doesnt work,

but the lights look cool

That was the first thing I did to try and get it alligned.
sigh...
Alright. I whiped out my soldering iron and connected to to back d0. Guess what... I still have the exact same problem, and I know the connection it good. Possibilities?

Solder the wires directly to the LPC points and don't use the pogos at all.

I have the Lite+, so I don't have the multicolored wireset.
Would it be okay to use my own 22 gauge wire to solder onto each of the lpc points?
Also, not that I'm questioning you, but on my X2.2L+ both blue LEDs are lit. That indicates that the lpc points are connected, dosen't it? If so, why do I need to solder down all the points?
(I don't know why I got this chip either.)

22 gauge wire is too thick. You should use 28 or 30 gauge.

ARRRGGGHHH!!!!
I soldered every point. Every last point. I did it perfectly.
My xbox is still flashing red and yellow, and the green LED (LED4) is still not staying on.
Am I correct in assuming something's up with my motherboard? Somewhere around the LPC points possibly?
I went out and bought a voltage meter today, fearing that I may have to use one. Assuming that this is my next course of action, do you know of any guides on what the voltages should be?
