What's the chance that the protect switch on my X 2.3 Lite is broken? Whenever I try to flash it, whether the external switch says protect or unprotect it gives me errors consistent with it being write-protected. (Flash not writeable (09 00) in Evox, unknown flash! halting through flashbios). I just got this thing, so I haven't gotten it to flash at all yet.
It's in a 1.0 xbox.
If it is the switch, think it would be possible to just pull the switch off and make the connection manually to unprotect it? (a wire?)
