XetaSoft.com is featuring a new Avalaunch skins section (in our gallery) and has several skins already. However, it is up to the community to ensure these skins are available in a central area and to also add skins from designers.

XetaSoft is currently looking to increase the amount of quality Avalaunch skins. If you have any avalaunch skins that you feel the Avalaunch community would enjoy, feel free to upload them to XetaSoft site. (All submissions will be reviewed before posted.)


As far as a contest goes: XetaSoft will award a $50 prize for the best ORIGINAL Avalaunch skin designed from now, until December 1st. Winners(yes, there could be more than 1 if the competition is close) will be annouced by XetaSoft on December 15th. All work must be ORIGINAL without the use of other artists backgrounds (unless Xetasoft recieves written consent from the artist to use the images). XetaSoft's gallery rank and XetaSoft admins will determine the winner.

I hope this helps the Avalaunch community grow, as I hope it helps the Skin community thrive.

Whenever I click on gallery at xetasoft.com. all I get is a white screen, nothings showing up. Am I the only one getting this?

He also did the 'official' (as in the Original) skin.

I did that when i first installed avalaunch i'll have to see if i still have it.

Are there any skins out there that display the MB, HD, and/or CPU Temp in the main page?

Damn, you really need to put that graphic skill to use in an MXM skin. I am really loving that layout and with a few tweaks that would look great with a full motion background and a circular Thumbnail in the right hand corner. Very nice.

.jpg or .png if you have a png with the same name as the jpg avalaunch will use the png

with AXS down is there another ava skin site to upload skins to? Tried the xetasoft and it wouldn't let me. Been doing a little skinning lately but nowhere to upload to

xboxdojo won't let me upload skins either. Says "maximum upload 0kb" at the bottom and when i tried to upload anyways it just went to a white error screen. If your able to upload hit me with a PM and let me know how.

I dled one of the skins over at allxboxskins yesterday and was a little confused as to why the skin had other xml files in the archive (config and another one i cant remember). I thought it just uses skin.xml.

Also, do I just delete everything in the media folder and transfer what its in the new skin?? I noticed that there are some files that the new skin is missing.
