I cant find skins for this awesome dashboard, allxboxskins is down so i dont know where to find skins.

Can someone point me to another skins site?

Or if you already have any good avalaunch skin send it to rteran@diestel.com.mx

yeah i agree with ruffles_x allxboxskins has sucked since the made the site. it is down more than up. they either need more bandwidth or to get someone else to host/serve the site. I also need some avalaunch skins.

Here is an update, but I think I will have some issues when I test it out on my Xbox.

Hmm, I would say number 1.

a few days later and I think I have a winner, I have the load screen and file manager done too, working on the dialog, progress and msg boxes, then onto the buttons and icons =)

b01 i like the 2nd one.....and palmore, i like the first menu image u did better. the other is good, but first one is best.

Yeah palmore, the fisrt one you did with the jagged edges, spices it up more. And I like the Idea you came up with for the bottom bar.

I also have a better Idea for the file manager, Its funny though. I just installed my 160GB X-drive, now I need access to a TV. Don't even ask Y or how I have an XBOX and no TV!

nifty dont begin to explain that, it is awesome. Man, you got some serious talent there, cant wait for that baby to be released so i can throw it on my xbox...... hell, it makes it look as good as MXM IMO, and thats with a restricted skinning process

and rob, to be honest, not sure, I have yet to use the IRC and Telnet, I can make minor changes if need be to the filemanager skin (i.e. removing "QUEUES" and such) will have to take a look, thanx for pointing that out

Im using Photo 7 myself

death trap, could i get ya to take that file manager one and make the boxes in a sep file but still transparent?
so it like this:
menu.png
launch.png
filemanager.png
background.png

the reason i ask is because the irc and telnet both use that same pic which is background.png
so if ya make the file manager boxes sep and transparent, still get same results but works better for telnet and irc

rob1309 they are, I just made them like that to put up on this forum. In my finnal release they will be structured the way you metion above.

so when can we be expecting this to be released? I dunno if it went on allxboxskins before it went down, but can you host it somewhere else.......

I'll toss together a quick release of it today, and post it here for now.

It will be designed for use with the file manager, and not the IRC and Telnet Clients. I'll touch that up once I take a break from modding my case

Edit =) Tossed it together.. here ya golast time I checked I redid pretty much EVERY image (file icons and the like)

I like the way you think lol, I'm working on a couple small modifications to it to clean it up abit, but I'd love for it to be the official skin, specially with the new UI under development =)
