Now, where do you put the thumbs for each game exactly?

1.) Download images.
2.) Run program that takes folder of images and converts to thumbnails (EZThumbs, BatchThumbs, Photoshop, ACDSee, etc)
3.) Compress and upload

Im happy people like my "little" collection...

To all the people that don't know how to use them...
Well I do hope you all know that these icons are intented for xboxMediaPlayer, so using them for Avalaunch would be possible, but you would get crappy quality pictures, since the images for Avalaunch is 128x128 not 64x64 pixels...

Well, first of all you have to do like ddh says, get a program that is able to convert the files.
Then here is the crappy part...
Each files has to be name excactly the same as the folder of the game of which the icon is intended.
So you have to rename each icon file you want to use.

If you still can't figure it out, consult the xboxMediaPlayer manual...


Im still thinking of opening a page dedicated to icon for the different Dashboards out there... if people would want such a site...?

Nice collection of games icons Linkitch , but XBMP automatically create game icons these days anyhow so whats the need? I understand with some applications but games ?

Perhaps I`m missing the point so please dont shout ?!!!

For those who need to know where to place .tbn files (if your using a older versions of XBMP) then place them like so.. game folders and .tbn examples below

F:/games/bruteforce/default.xbe
F:/games/halo/default.xbe
F:/games/bruteforce.tbn
F:/games/halo.tbn

Just remember .tbn should be the exact same name as the folder you want it to correspond to.

Wanna know something weird? after I put a bunch of these in -- and they worked and looked great -- I went ot "Game Management on the Xbox HDD' to erase a game or two and then all of the sudded like fifteen of my games got erased. I am NOT blaming using the .tbn's but what is the deal here? I have NEVER had this happen to me before....

by the way, how & where to upload thumbs to xbox to display game's thumbnail ?
