Hi all, am i right in assuming that the external swich for the bios select runs 2 banks for bios sizes of 512k each (x2.3lite) in which case how is a 1024k bios achieved?
I am planning EvoxM7 on bank 1 and Xecuter2.4979_REPACK on bank 2.
Is this a good option or can any other suggestion be made.
Ta very much.

Actually that's probably the best way to go about it right now with the bios's out.
You need to make a 1 meg bios file with 2 512 bios files in it.
X2 bios manager will let you do this nice and easy.
I would say look for the x2 beta 7 version, works fine for me.
If you flash it with a 1 meg bios file that is just 1 actual bios made to a 1 meg size, it will "overwrite" the switch and either way you put it, it will boot up with the same 1 bios.

cheers mate but can i load up the Evox bios first (512k) on bank 1 then switc to bank 2 and do the same for the xecuter bios........surely the bios that boots will depend on whick bank the switch is set to???

No actually you can't do that.
The only way that you can flash a different bios into each bank is to flash it with an image that has 2 internal bios's in them.
You'll notice if you want to try it, that if you flash one bank, then switch and flash it will just overwrite it and have the same in both (1 actual image not 2)

If you use Flash-X, you can flash each bank individually.
