HI I use evox,

I did some ftp`n, with my xbox and computer.

I had to change some ip`s : 192.168.0.3 for my xbox and 192.168.0.2 for my computers network card.

I just added a line in evox so i can disable the chip, but I cant play live cos the ip is wrong or something!

I have my network card set to : automatic detection, what shoud I put in my evox, -or settings- to be able to play live? I only have a dns server and a ip adress now...

plz help me!

There is absolutely nothing you can put in Evox to enable live because you cannot log onto live if you have Evox....you will be banned.

You must have the original M$ dashboard still on your LOCKED hard drive.

And you must simply disable the chip.

Sounds more like a router issue. Are you going through a router? Or is your XBox directly connected to your highspeed port?

Hi,

I have my mod disabled when trying to acces live. It just boots in the normal m$ dash.

I use two network cards, and both are set to automatic configuration.

My xbox cant get info from the dns server. I have tried setting ip`s manual -192.168.0.3, 0255.255.255, and the gateway to 192.168.0.1- but I have a "dns server" box checked - can`t uncheck- and I don`t know what to put in there..

My hd is locked cos I use the original one.

If you have your internet connection coming in through your computer and u want to share it with your xbox that is connected via a secondary nic, you will have to make sure your computer is setup to function as a gateway. Are you using windows xp? If you are just do a quick google search for 'ICS (Internet Connection Sharing)' and you should find about 10000 tutorials on how do this. It is really simple its just that I do not know EXACTALLY how to do it off hand without actaully doing it again. This worked for me. Let me know if it helps.

Ok it was quite easy -not!-

I had to apply "let other computers share a conn. to the internet." I had them both autodetect, and it worked!

Tnx for the help
