Anybody had any experience with sky brand 1x dvd-r media?? I have burned 7 dvds with my I/O Magic multi format dvd burner and came up with nothing but coasters.

It's not the brand that matters but the dye on the disc. Do you have DVD Decrypter or a similar program that will let you know what the dye on the disc is?
