I do NOT have 007 I do NOT have mechassault I DO have evox and unleashedx running...

so I have ftp acces and xbe execute acces but I do not have the games Ive downloaded the newest raincoat and the newest 007 hack for raincoat, Im currently using the bert n ernie reloaded with phoenix bios loader which points to evox

how do I get raincoat to work? if I just FTP it over and run from evox it doesnt work

raincoat is a linux app

therefore you have to be running linux to be able to use raincoat

run the minilinux first then use raincoat.

... I cant get linux to run.. it just goes to the loading screen and does nothing afterwards, Ive actually tried more than one linux distros

Hi, There is no need to have linux running for you to be able to run the 007 raincoat hack.
All you need to do is copy the 000000000000 folder from raincoat to your HD and run the default.xbe and raincoat should run without the need for 007 AUF or Mechassault .

damnit now Ill have to hotswap to restore the fonthack... and with hdddriver going freaky I doubt it will work..


well it doesnt work when I just try to run the xbe, and the default.xbe in the package IS LINUX! :-P its NOT raincoat ;-) so yes there IS the need to run linux, and I have it running now, just cant seem to telnet

Yup... HDD driver got into an eternal filesize error thing, so pleeease guys help me to use mini-linux to telnet and flash so I can use slayer or whatever or Im screwed and will have to go trough loads of crap to get evox back

what ip are you tring to telnet to?

I assume your network is set up properly?

2 seconds ago I succesfully flashed it.. I went out and bought 007 AUF today and tried it with that :-) .. so after it says completed.. I reboot my box?... lets try...

oh and with minilinux I was trying 1 (but thats my own IP) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and 64 (didnt wanna do all others coz it wudnt work anyway)

Went to a gameshop (all gameshops have the game out here..) saw "xbox classic 007 AUF" grabbed it, paid the 20 euros it cost, and went home:-) ... might return it tomorrow to get me a wireless controller... Nintendo Wavebird made me a spoiled gamer ;-)

but then again I might need it again sometime..:-P

It's a hard game though... I've never got any further than the bit in "Load mission" when you choose "Xbox Hard Disk"
