I have a refurbished first generation modded XBOX running EvoxM7 with a chameleon modchip, with the original hard drive and a thompson DVD drive.

I am getting a message during gameplay of an original disc saying "Disc may be damaged or dirty" I figured it was the disc, but when i took the disc out and the M$ dash loaded, I got a black screen with green text in about 10 different languages saying service is required. Furthermore when I played Halo off the hard drive with XBConnect i got the dirty disc message again even though there was no disc in the tray.

Any help would be appreciated, the box ran fine for about 4 days.
