Just to let you guys know, you CAN delete the following file in every backup.

/Media

HOWEVER, it must ONLy consist of the following files inside of it:

ArialUni.Ttf
dcustom.xpr
Sound.xsb
Wave.Xwb

Otherwise, you will get a DRE. I did this with about 10 of my games and it helped a bit. Saves about 23-30 MB (depends on the game).

So, I have someone helping me make ACL's for the new games. He asked a question and I figured someone out there might know. Where do you get the game ID numbers? Is there a list somewhere?

Aren't they derived from the ID numbers of the savegames?

You can get the title ID from a couple of apps, DVD2Xbox (game manager), and the save game app for the PC gives you the TitleID too. Try those.

OK, well then let's create a list of the new ones. Send me all the ID's you can gather so I can send them to the person that is helping me. I/We have the old ones from Rahzul's site but we need the others.

are you going to update "All ACL's"? there has to have been more added since 23 Mar '04.

I am in the process of adding all the old ACL's to my website. There is also someone helping me create new ones. The problem is getting the game ID numbers for the games that we don't own.

Are the game IDs the same as what is in the memory? If so you could just get a game save off of Action Replays software and find the id that way.

Does anybody know of program that will play .xmv or at least decode them? Also any other programs that decode any of the xbox video/audio files could be useful. I only know of RAD Video Tools.

You can download it here. It will make it alot easier to see what videos you are deleting or replacing. Also to get the game id just use action replays software. Download a gamesave of the game you want the id for and then look in the udata folder. Easy as that.

These were originally posted as replacements but you could delete them
all together to save 300MB, it won't affect the game.


And for POP 2 the attract and credits biks are deleteble all together
aswell.

Just so you guys know I've never had a problem with deleting an attract movie
so it's almost certain that you could delete them whenever you see them. There
usually boring, poor quality, in-game movies that are put there to "attract" your
attention at Electronics Boutique anyways.

They seem deletable but when you leave the main menu on for to long, in the case of the attract vid, it will give you a dirty disc screen. Same with the credits.

I'm sorry that happened to you, but to me the main screen just reloads whenever it tries to access the attract.bik and that's it. And as far as the credits giving you a dirty disc error that's just weird cause you only get a dde when the games trying to access that file and it's not there, so why would you get that from the main screen(unless you were trying to access the credits vid from the menu).
Just to clear this up. If you delete the credits.bik from any game, you can't try and access it from the main menu cause sometimes(not all games) you'll get a dde message. And again if you delete the attract.bik from a game then don't let your main screen sit there for 5 min. without doing anything cause sometimes(some games, not all) this will give you a dde.

i tried the POP deleteions and the game freezes now right when it starts (after the FMV).

they're not deletions, they are replacements. You have to get a "blank" video and replace it with the original. That way the game still plays a vid but it doesn't have anything on it; Just a half a second of black screen

I did that and it didn't work.

Can someone point me in the direction of blank .mad video files? I tried searching and came up with nothing.

Hello, i would erase the language files from Prince of Persia: Warrior Within keeping only the italian language. It seems that the files of the various languages have all a precise number (1-4) in the filename but i don't know which is the number associated with italian... There's anyone that could help me?
