OK, I had a stock xbox with both the Audio and Font hack on, with a switch between the two.

I upgraded the HD (80Gb) using a modified Xbox (having ftp'd all the data from all the partitions on the stock drive) and dropped it back into the softmodded box (having ftp'd all the data back). Now the font hack works perfectly, but when the fonts are renamed back to their "proper" names so that the M$ dash will load (ready for the audio hack), the xbox just loops as though the fonts were not there and also doesn't appear to load phoenix either, meaning I had to swap the drive back into the modded xbox rename the fonts and then put it back ito the soft modded box.

Hope that makes sense, can anyone help?

i dont know anything about the exploits shtuff, but a random thought, does the new hard drive need to be locked/unlocked in order for it to work?

It needs to be locked (which it is).
