Hello out there !
There are some games ( my last one was Midnight Club 2 ) that won´t start from the HD of my XBOX.
I copied these games successfully on the HD but every time I want to start them, the XBOX reboots to the Evolution X Start Menu and the game won´t start.
Any ideas what´s wrong ?
Thanks and greetings :

Reseting to the evox dash, sounds like a media flag. Patch the games .xbe files. You can do this with ADR Patcher. The links are in my signature. Get the updated data pack too.
Just unzip all the files to one folder on your pc (create one and call it adr) then unzip and add the updated data pack files to the same folder and replace the files when it prompts you to. Then launch the program and point it to the games .xbe files and patch them.
If the game is on the hard drive already just ftp the default.xbe and any other .xbe files back to your pc and patch them, then ftp them back and try it again.

First of all :
Thanks a lot for your help.
Now I´ve patched the .xbe files. There were three : dashupdate.xbe , default.xbe ,update.xbe .
The default.xbe file causes the reboot.
So now when I start the game it doesn´t reboot anymore but the loading screen from the dashboard freezes.
What did I wrong ?

Oh yes ! I think I got it. I turned the "In Game Reset" - as mentioned in another post - to off. And until now "Midnight Club 2" works fine. And I just had to patch "default.xbe".
Once again :

FYI: You can delete dashupdate.xbe and update.xbe They are for Xbox Live and you can not use backups for live so they are not used.
