I read in a topic that you cant use teh 616b because it uses a toshiba chipset...i was wondering why does the firmware need to be flashed to the samsing, why cant it be the phillips or thomoson firmware...if this is the case, could we possibly use other dvd drives, such as a liteon or philips or sony that just might have the right chipset in it(what is the right one?)
