Hi, I had xbmp_2_4_cvs_10-13-03 installed an working on my box. I started messing with the video settings and wham the screen went blank. Before I read the fix on this forum I acted and decided to reflash the chip. I got the picture back and was able to get unleashx (my default dash) up so I was relieved that at least this much came back. However when I try to launch xbmp the load screen hangs and xbmp does not load. I tried deleting xbmp and reloading another version of 2.4 and this actually worked to get xbmp working again. The problem is that the version I loaded does not seem to have the webserver, or some other options that I actually like in the cvs version. For ex. the remote control function is off, and I can't get game icons to appear with their respective programs. Also I can't ftp to the box while this new version of xbmp is loaded and running despite the settings appearing accurate in the config.xml file.

My question is whether anyone out there has had a similar experience and whether there is a way to get my orig xbmp version working again.
I thought I would re-download the same version but I can't find it now.
Also, do I still need to do that enigmah video select install in light of above? I tried to download it but I can't find the default.xbe. I would like to ftp it to my xbox.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Happy holidays!!
Morien
Try installing the very latest CVS build (12-05-03). This should get you your features back. You'll just have to set it up properly. If you set it up in the config than you won't need to use the enigmah video switch. Just tell it to load in a specific format (pal, ntsc) instead of detecting from the original dash settings. Make sure you're tv can support the format your putting it in.
