Alright here's my question/dilema. I bought Xbox Live about a year ago, and I don't use it at all, now they are going to try and auto-renew my subscription, and the only way to cancel my subscription without calling MS is to do it through the xbox I think, or linking my "gamertag" to my Passport account.
Basically I remember reading something about holding down the power button for 3 seconds to turn the modchip off and start my xbox as if there were no modchip. But this doesn't work, for me at least, and I hate to open my box up again and pop out the modchip (solderless). So is there a way I can acomplish this task without removing my modchip or opening my xbox period.
I suppose if worst comes to worst I can just put in an xbox live game and try to play so that they cancel my account automatically, but I'd rather not do that either.
