I bought my chip from www.system-mods.com and I have this problem.... It was working fine and everything but I couldnt get it to flash. I kinda gave up on it and was gona take it to a friend and have him flash it for me. Well I was gonna go today but I started painting my xbox last night (check out hte pics in my topics about it) and the chip quit working. the only thing I disconnected was the little switch board from the front panel. I never even removed the wire. Now when the chip is enabled it frags and doenst work at all. No video either. I took it out and re installed it from scratch and still nothing. Is there anything I van do to fix it? I would rather not send it back and I would love to get it working becuase I have this 160 gig hdd settin here un used.

Did you reconnect the cable after disconnecting it?

I completely re did everything twice and no luck. Im just gonna toss this chip out the window and buy a 2.3 pro with programmer.

This may sound dumb but mine does that sometimes (reboot, reboot, frag) but i just hit the xbox and it works again

Probably a loose solder connection. Go through and resolder all the points (paying close attention to the d0).
