ok, here is the situation. I was trying to hotswap then use xlinux to rename my xboxdash.xbe( mine is a 007 non-chip modded, messed up my xboxdash.xbe by modifing it and ftp back) fortunatly I had backup file name xboxbackup.xbe both in xbox and pc hdd. I thought that I can change the one in xbox hd back to xboxdash.xbe, then It should be ok, I am a newbie in linux, so I type
mv "xbackup.xbe" "xboxdash.xbe" but still get error16. now when I check the file in hd, there are too xboxdash.xbe , I can only remove one by typing
rm xboxdash.xbe and the other one can not be remove

my question is ,
1. do you have any idea to remove that from my hdd,

2. is it possible I can transfer the original xboxdash.xbe stored on my pc back , I can only mount A: drive, becaus I am using XP

3. I know I screwed up my xboxdash.xbe , can I install a modchip and restore all the hdd with slayer or whatever installing software.

sorry about too many questions, please bear with me

Xlinux doesn't involve in which Windows OS you're using...

okay, give me your drive ide# setting... here is mine when i use xlinux all the time:

ide#1 master - PC Hard-Drive
ide#1 slave - Cdrom-Drive
ide#2 master - Xbox HDD
ide#2 slave - nothing on it hehe biggrin.gifs...
