Hiya. I've recently ordered broadband. Well actually quiet a while a go but had loads of problems. Doesn't seem so bad now (leave my PC on 24/7). I would like to download lots of stuff, though I'm puzzled as to what to download.

I mean I don't want to download loads of cough stuff but I'm just wondering what to download. And I would like to download big stuff.

Things I know I could download...

Game Demos (my pc is rubbish though)
Movie trailers
Free Mp3's (were are good places)
TV Shows

And well that’s about it, like all I've thought about.

Maybe there are some cool things on the net I just don't know about. Mention your big downloads here please. I don't want to waste my £28 a month and not download anything.

i would suggest not getting addicted to downloading. its cool at first but after a while you stop playing/watching what you get and just download and burn becasue its an addiction.

My GF is like that. She downloads hundreds of songs and jsut burns them She'll burn a cd and half of the songs are either incomplete or not even the song she thought it was. Getting stuff for free is adicting. Shes left CD's in my car that have like 20 tracks and only five work properly. Dloading is an addiction.

screw that addiction shit! If you want it DL it! If your paying for broadband why not use it. Its better than just letting it sit there and do nothing all day. Make sure is complete though befor burning it to disc.....lol Any way WinMX is a great place simple and good. www.winmx.com!

that is true...when i first go broadband i downloaded so much over the limit (60GB/month when the limit is 20) that they cut off my service twice. most of all the crap i downloaded i never used. at all. almost all of it is burned on a disc somewhere in my drawer.

I was trying to point out that I would like to download some legal stuff for once and it would be cool if the files are big. Anyway why am I going to be so dum and download incomplete ****. Well I don't have a 'capped' ISP i'm with Zen. All I do at the moment is do online gaming and chat on irc bots and learning Linux for serving stuff. Surly there are some sites with legal stuff on it. Gee I'm surprised this thread isn't closed because of you guys. Go and read my first post up there!

HAHA, this is hilarious, i make fun of my friend for all of dl'ing he does. Half of the shit he gets he never plays, listens to, or watches. I can see where it could be a problem. My freind goes home on the breaks, and dl's a shitload because we can't at our college (damn firewall) but then he never uses it, just wastes time on the dl'ing. chill dude, try fileplanet.com, they have all your demos patches, and trailers, anime (not my type of stuff), and other shit there.

Anyway you can get a ton of games/game demos from www.happypuppy.com and you can try gamespy as well.

When I go to an all you can eat buffet, I like to waste enough food to equal the cost of the meal. I'd equate this to the same thing that you're trying to accomplish.
