is this is okay hd? will it fit?

As i see it. 80 gig should be good for now. at about 2 or 3 gigs per game. it will hold a very large bunch of games. and i dont play a whole lot of game so i think this should work good.
but 1 question. how do i know if it is going to fit into my x-box?

i have opened my x-box and seen the size of my hd. are all hd's same size?

is it a good deal? $66.00 for it

Modqueen

The most important factor when buying a new HDD for your Xbox, is if you need to lock the drive(want to play on Xbox Live). Make sure to search the forum here for lock stats on your model #. If you plan never to use XBL you can get a 160G Maxtor 5400 for about $90 to the door on Ebay, or any drive for that matter.

EDIT: As long as the HDD fits the 3.5" form factor it will work. The drive you mentioned will definitely fit.

Also on the pictures of the 80gig hdd i see on the web pages it shows something that looks like cd or some kind of disc. is that just the way all hd's are? or is that some weird version of a hdd that is a cd-rom also?

Why don't you pull your current hard drive out and look at it?
