Just trying to find a reliable place to buy the blue ring cathode I'll need for my new jewel I just ordered. Any suggestions?

i believe so, because in most cases people use that light and not the fan, but you might want to doublecheck before you order.

you can buy them from Xoxide.com as they are reliable and sell what I precieve to be the best one (sumbeam tech).
The fan easily unscrews from the cathodes, comes with an on/off switch and it very bright.

Yeah. 4 screws hold the fan and light together.
