I have a V1.0 Xbox and have an Xbit mod chip on order. The Xbox has a Thompson DVD drive, what make of CD / DVD media would work best?
verbatim dvd-r work fine for me but a crossed cable and flashfxp work even better 
Before I changed my Thomson to a samsung....
I used CD/RW any really...Yamaha,1 media, TDK, Arita
CDR NO good none booted...
DVD-R Laser, Princo, Dupez
DVD-RW Melody = (Princo), Princo
Now with the sammie basically any disc works....
