Did a quick search, found nothing like this, so...
I had a look last night and most of the contents of the THPS4 disk looks just the same as THUG - right down to the level naming conventions and format.
So, after trying for about an hour to get some of the classic THPS4 levels into THUG (like Kona) and failing miserably (although I could change the loading screens...) I wondered if anyone else fancied the challenge.
Might require a bit more than just file renaming, mind. You can rename out (for example) Moscow (the RU... levels) and copy over Kona's, renaming them to RU*, but THUG doesn't like it...

i dont know if that would work. The problem is there is more you can do in thug than 4 for instance walking. new tricks. THPS4 levels dont support this

Thought you might.
I figured they wouldn't run perfectly - the new tricks in THUG were exactly the reason I wanted to get some of the older levels in there, so I could walk about in THPS4 levels, for example.
I've tried again since, and still not got anywhere, which is a shame.

I tried something similar to this with NHL HItz 2003/Hitz Pro.
All the cool arenas (graveyard, jungle, etc) from Hitz 03 aren't in Hitz Pro...the files are practically identical. I tried some switching around, but didn't have any luck....granted I'm far from what one would call "experienced" in the hacking world. Good luck with it. I know I would be interested in it.

Same here, I just assumed you might be able to 'fool' the game by swapping every over (the files also, I presume, included collision maps and such). Sadly not, and I've all but given up now.

If this would even have a remote chance of workingyou would have to copy the level files and every file that has anything to do with the level. Any sound. texture, support file, dat and any other thing the game might have to access to run the level. If the game uses a different game engine I doubt it would work

I know, that's what I'd tried to do. As far as I know the engine is /similar/, but obviously not the same. It was just a wild guess, I suppose.
