i only have problems with the dvd movies games work perfect. and i have also problems with divx on dvd it only play's the first movie on the dvd not all [dvd 5 divx on one]
is this normal or is it the problem of the liteon dvd if so please give me a good dvd drive name and i will buy that one for my xbox.

i found a firmware update Improve playability quality

But i never install a new firmware is it hard to do ?

it's easy. plug it in your computer and follow the instructions given with the firmware.

my second dvd-burner had a firmware that destroyed the laser after some time so i had to reflash it and now it works better than ever before.

I've found that on my Xbox it also only plays 3 of 6 Divx movies I have burned onto a DVD-R - but I put the same disk in one of my M8's Xboxs and it plays all 6 movies.

I have the Phillips DVD-ROM unit - I think it is just luck of the draw at the end of the day sometimes sad.gif
