I just bought Vice City, and like all my other games i have, i've backed it up. All my other games work great, no problems at all.. But when i start Vice City, it gets to the main load screen and just freezes up...Even now when i stick the Cd in, it freezes up at the same screen...i would think it would work if i played it off the Cd, but no cigar!!
I'm wondering if its a bad disc or something...

I've tried to patch the game, it didn't work....Anyone have any ideas or solutions.

Any help would be really appreicated...

You should be able to disable your modchip, boot your ms bios and set your time/date in the ms dash.

If i turn off my xbox mod chip, i get the screen that says

"16 Your xbox requires Service"

where is my ms bios?

You should just be able in Evox to go ahead and select ms dashboard and boot to it, but you say it's just rebooting to evox screen. I know for a fact if you have a game backed up dvd in your tray it will just boot back to the evox dash. Try it without the disc in there.

Is it possible that i deleted the MS bios, so its not booting to the Ms dashboard??

your MS biso is fine, otherwsie you wouldnt even get the error 16

16 is a dashbaord file error

load evox, then ftp a backup of the msdash to the C drive and it should fix the problem
