Im still waiting for mine, theres a lot of shit about no BIOS on them and crap like that. I know nothing about the modchip except im supposed to just snap it in, no soldering... Did yours come with a BIOS or not? If not, what is required to put one on?

if its blank you're gonna need a matrix programmer or chameleon programmer which is conviently in stock for first time in about 2 months.

As for bios programming is all done in the programming house before it is manufactured.
All chips are programmed with Cromwell 2.27.
As for Matrix programmers we received the last shipment from manufacture.
So anybody that needs a programmer can order one if they wish.

Lets hope so. It's already been 3 weeks, paying extra and waiting who knows how long for a programmer is completely out of the question.

i did and it came with the 2.27 cromwell bios - but i used the programmer to install the 4980 256kb bios.
eb2k was pretty considerate to me i guess, seeing that everyone else was getting screwed.
