I have 2 ps2s and neither work.On I believe had a fried power supply the other just fell from about 5 feet and wont do anything. But the lights come on so the power supply must be working. So i tried to swap the 2 parts. They are both 39001 systems but the power supplys look different but they seem close enough and they fit.So after swapping the 2 the ps2 with the original fried power supply would do anything.I connected every cable but nothing happens when I try to load it.
I may put the power supply back in the dropped PS2 and try to get it to work again.ANy clue why that one wouldnt work? nothing is cracked or visibly broken.Really any help at all is appeciated.

Power supplys are tricky in the PS2 Ive never tried to swap them. But the one you dropped. You might check the actual drive to see if it even spins the disk any more. If not check the cable from the board to the eye it might have been disconected. If it is connected and it still dosent spin I would try to switch the drives it isnt that hard and that might give one PS2 that works

Check the non working power supply with a multimeter you can plug it up and check the pins on the bottom of the 4 prongs if you put probes on all the points and dont get anything then its dead.
Could be a fuse on the motherboard if both of your power supplies are working.
