Howdy,

Most of the tutorials I have found about detecting your Xbox version do not cover Xboxes that were made late last year. The one I have was manufactured in October of 2003. I need to find a mod chip that will work with it, any suggestions?

Your gonna take that cover off at somepoint so take it off and identify your xbox version accurately using this tutorial (it covers every xbox version to date) Then take a look at the gen3 modchip matrix here and choose a mod of your choice. Also take a look in the TSOP Flashing forums here on x-s.
