hey.....i just recently loaded the xbox linux clean bios 2.27b dev bios onto my box and i want it off. i can't install linux because it doesn't read the linuxboot.cfg file. does anybody have a soloution to overwrite bios or overcome the linux install error. thanks.

and what kind of modchip do you have

tsop......i have no idea what chip i have.....i just bought it with it in it and haven't been bothered to find out.....prolly shoulda took the time but didn't

i am having the same problem, i have a chameleon modchip and everytime i put a new bios disk in i sasy it cant read the disk, unable to find linuxbo.cfg. and i have read things that say rename to bios to linuxbio.bin, but nothing
help would be appricaited

Because you don't have a Flashbios version of the Cromwell/Linux bios, you will need to run some software - OzXFlash or Raincoat. These are Linux applications that will run from your current bios and will request a second CD containing 'bios.bin' as usual.
Otherwise, you will need an external programmer.
