I'm having trouble viewing directories in F: drive and transferring any file to or from the xbox.

IPs, pings and initial FTP connection are all fine. Passive mode is also set to off. I'm using evox 3935 and bios 4977, and WS_FTP. I've tried windows explorer too but it reports that "An error occuried opening the folder on the FTP Server. Make sure you have permission to access this folder. Details: 502 noop is not imlemented."

by the way, ftping to my friend's xbox works just fine on my network, so it has to be something wrong with my xbox and not network configuration or settings. DHCP or static the problem's still the same.

any ideas on what's wrong?

ok, why is this locked? has this question been repeated? I believe this is a different FTP problem and i have tried searching the forums for answers (although i can't even type in the word 'ftp' as a search parameter since min. letters are 4). unsure.gif
