Just a note for the Mods, it's a great forum but like everything it changes. Keep things simple, and don't grab the wheel and slam on the breaks at every bump in the road ok? Also don't worry about justifying your actions by telling us about other infractions that you stopped. It makes you look like you are on the defensive side, and are trying to cover things over. Not saying you are, so don't even get off on that tangent please.

Your' rules are the board rules. Not everyone will be happy, but then no one ever is. A lot of people have left, but a lot will come by and take their place I guess. But something is missing, and I cannot place my finger on it yet. Ahh yeh..the community. Doesn't really feel like it's all their anymore, and yes I'm going to blame the assimilation of the newbies. Is a picture of you taking XTC illegal ? no - so a picture of xecuter isn't either.

Request not only ask for something that can't be answered , it's also annoying ... atleast that's my personal opinion. If we would allow requests , don't you think alot more people would start posting request ?
It would actually become a trade-forum with 1000ths of requests - that are answered by PM or mail ... that's not the kinda forum I want this to be.

please tell him - mods go by rules that are set as a group; not just by ourselves.

M3 my friend, they seem to be missing your point entirely and are fixated on the whole locking and deleting threads which were just a small paragraph in what you were trying to get across.

If it's any consolation, I understand what you are getting at. I'll try to sum it all up.

Mods have a job of keeping this forum "clean" we all understand this.
Mods have the duty of determining what violates the board rules.
Mods also have the duty of explaining why said thread is in violation.

This has all been done quite well might I say in the past. The problem that is being brought up here, is that there has been ZERO discussion into why a lot of threads were nuked. Instead of locking, try editing the post and explaining why it should not be allowed. Rob does do a great job in killing threads nicely.

All M3 is trying to get at, if I may M3, is that without any explanation posts are being nuked and wiped off the board, and when asked why...we're basically being told.."fuck off..we know better than you..don't ask". Not directly, but that may be how some people are saying them.

We're not saying let this place go to shit..wait..you did run a Matrix promotion, so that is your own fault if it does!

Anyway too much has already been said that has not been said at all. Too much fixation is being placed on the examples that a few of us are trying to use to get the point across. M3 used the allagory of a house in reference to the community itself and how people react. He didn't mean it was his property, I'm sure of that. It was used to support his feelings of "how would you like it".
