the search hasn't worked for days and it's getting kind of out of hand.

I had a recient topic right in front of me and typed the title in word for word and it turned up no results... tried a few other things like "LED" and "xbox" LED brought up no results and xbox only found 100 LOL

If you search for "LED" alone.. it is 3 characters long.. and the current search string minimum is 4 characters. So the search is working properly.

If you search for "XBOX" Alone, it is too common a word in XS posts.. so searching just for that produces packet overflow. There are 885784 posts on this site.. and XBOX appears at least once in 80% of them (708627). So doing a search with just "XBOX" is foolish.

Learning to search properly is a skill.

"XBOX" and "LED" produces about 2200 hitz. http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?act...e=xbox+and+leds

...that is with settings like all forums and categories.. and search ANY DATE and OLDER.

Now.. you can narror that down alot.. by isolating that search to relevant forums like Case modding and hardware forums.. etc.

You can further refine your search using AND and OR commands.
